THE UK CULTURE CLASS   (FOR 3º ESO)

Our students were taken on a fun trip to Britain where they could learn about the four different countries that make up the UK.  They looked at the flags and national symbols of these countries, the Royal Family, food, languages, pop music and other aspects of life in Britain. There were plenty of opportunities for students to participate throughout the class with fantastic prizes for correct answers. At the end of the class, there was the chance for one lucky student to win an extra-special prize in a quiz based on the TV show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’!!

ENGLISH AROUND THE WORLD  (FOR 4º ESO)

How did Barbados get its name? What do Australians call the toilet? What games were invented in India? How do people descend the Niagara Falls? In this class our students went beyond the boundaries of the UK and took a look at some other English speaking cultures. They also learnt more about Britain and its links with these countries

USA ROAD TRIP  (FOR 1º BACHILLERATO)

They travelled along the historic route 66 highway. Along the way they were finding out about American car culture and eating habits. They were also  looking at the best places to stay. Finally, they were taken on a musical tour of the whole country, discovering the geographical roots of different musical genres.
